My girlfriend decided to post some pictures of our lorry conversion in one of the self build camper van groups on Facebook. The reaction was quite honestly overwhelming, within a few hours it was getting thousands of likes & shares.

Writing a blog on our build was one of the things we were meaning to do, but never quite got round to it. Hundreds of people were contacting us asking questions so maybe writing it now will help a few people who are thinking of doing a similar thing. P.S, this is no way intended to be a ‘How to’ guide. If you blow yourself up, or get your head stuck in the wheels, we’re in no way going to be held responsible.

Hopefully sharing the challenges we came across and the solutions we came up with will be helpful, or maybe you’ll read this and think ‘thats a stupid way of doing that’ & end up doing something better. Either way, I’ve started writing this, so I may as well finish it.
